Welcome to our blog for the project on The Endangered Animals of the World, otherwise known as TENAN.

Firstly, we would like to introduce ourselves. We are from class 4 SIK from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 9, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, participating in the online collaboration project, TENAN.

The purpose of this ongoing project is to allow students from all over the world a chance to help foster knowledge and appreciation for the plight of the many thousands of endangered animals of the Earth. Students will gain valuable skills for researching, collaborating and telecommunicating while sharing their information with people around the world.

Our group, from class 4 SIK, are in the process of completing this project on one of the endangered species found in Malaysia which is the infamous Orangutan. By completing this project, we hope to raise a sense of realisation on why so many orangutans as well as other animals are in danger of becoming extinct, what kinds of things are being done to stop these inhabitants of earth from disappearing, and how we can help in the process.
